Video 1 (Act 1 if you will)
Act 3
I love Mythbusters, I think they are fantastic. I wish I could do their job, but I get to use their stuff sometimes to do my job. I am going to adapt this eventually for grade 8 but there are so many possibilities here, and what I want to know is how you guys would do it. I will try to embed the videos from the Discovery Channel website in the order I think I would show them, but what do you guys think. This is by no means a lesson yet, but I have to get it down now before I forget, and before discovery channel removes the videos! Video 1 (Act 1 if you will) Act 2 Now unfortunately here is the reveal as you can see. So I think I would cut this clip up to the point right before they shoot, so that students can gather some speed information. I would have to check the full episode to find the speed though. Act 3 There are some more video, but I think these are the most useful for inspiring curiosity. Anyway, I am nowhere near at a point to start preparing this lesson, but I wanted to hear from some pros what they would do with this.
